Focus: Addressing multi-level health disparities and implementing evidence-based practices to promote health equity in diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Assisting with research on the usability of the implementation research logic model (IRLM).

  • Supporting faculty and staff with ongoing research studies.

  • Conducting literature searches and other research tasks.

  • Developing and submitting Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocols, monitoring data, and managing amendments and reviews.

  • Collecting and analyzing data through qualitative interviewing, survey development, and quantitative analysis.

  • Assist with the dissemination of study findings through manuscripts, presentations, and final reports.

Focus: Cancer genetic testing and counseling within African American and Black immigrant communities in the Mountain West region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Qualitative data analysis on cancer communication disparities among African American women with a focus on genetic counseling awareness.

• Writing educational materials on cancer genetic counseling and health prevention strategies.

• Conducting quantitative coding and analysis of the Genetic Counseling Project (GC-PRO) study data.

• Performing literature reviews on triple-negative breast cancer studies among African American women.

• Collaborating with research teams to advance knowledge on cancer disparities and contribute to publications.

• Curating content for websites and ensuring materials are organized and accessible.

• Managing project timelines and ensuring completion of writing assignments.

• • Conducting literature reviews on gender portrayal in Nollywood and the impact of radio programs on agricultural practices.

  • Assisting with data analysis by coding interviews and interpreting data on cultural themes.

  • Analyzing female representation in Nollywood through quantitative and qualitative data collection.

  • Examining the impact of specific radio programs on community engagement and knowledge dissemination.

  • Utilizing secondary data to support research objectives and frameworks.

• Proficient in qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis.

• Experienced in conducting literature reviews and synthesizing research findings.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in disseminating research findings through manuscripts, presentations, and reports.

• Effective in managing project timelines and ensuring the completion of research tasks.
