OLAMIDE OGUNDARE

I am a mixed-methods researcher working at the intersection of health and intercultural communication. This includes topics like how peer and institutional health messaging shapes trust and access, and how it influences the adoption of preventive health behaviors in underserved populations, as well as behavioral outcomes, persuasion, message design, and decision-making. Additionally, I am also interested in gendered research, interpersonal interactions, and organizational communication. My interests span across psychology, public health, and linguistics. 

I hold a B.A. in Linguistics and an M.A. in African Studies (Cultural and Media Studies) from the University of Ibadan, as well as an M.A. in Linguistics from the University of Utah.

Outside of research, I genuinely enjoy rest (sleep is essential😍!) and staying curious - always exploring new ideas. You can find more about my publications and conference work in the scholarly section of this site.
